Exchange Preferences

When you sign up for an exchange, you pick your matching preferences. These let you define what action to take if we can't find a match in your selected group. They're defined in priority order:

Domestic > Drop

Drop me from this exchange if you can't find a domestic match

Domestic > International

Try to find me an international match if you can't find a domestic one, but drop me instead of bumping me to worldwide

Domestic > Worldwide

Bump me to worldwide if you can't find a domestic or international match

International > Drop

Drop me if you can't find a match in my group

International > Worldwide

Bump me to worldwide if you can't find a match in my group

Worldwide

Match me with anyone from anywhere in the world

Special option for rematchers: Choose a specific country to send a gift to with the 'by country' preference.

Relative Level Matching

Give priority to matching you with users of a similar experience level. This helps ensure you're paired with someone who has similar exchange history and reliability.

Tip: You can enable this option in your account settings to apply it to all future exchanges.

Premium Matching Features

Set yourself to only be matched with other premium users. We also have a descending preference tool available, so if we can't find any premium members in the area you have selected (e.g. domestic), you can set yourself to:

Be matched with a standard user
Be matched with a premium member worldwide
Automatically leave the exchange

Do Not Match

For safety and comfort, you can prevent being matched with specific users. This feature helps ensure a positive exchange experience for everyone.

Rematching Program

If your Santa doesn't send a gift, you can sign up for rematching. Generous volunteers will send you a gift without expecting one in return. You can also become a rematcher and be a hero!
